Yesterday was a revelation for me. Not that I found something that I don’t know but it was like a new start for me.

I’ve been searching this for quite sometime. Looks like the time has arrived. Hopefully I would love to keep this going.

Watching - Youtube

At office. My mind is pretty blank. Been busy since morning. Its time to chill-out.

I am watching Titanic on TNT now for the zillionth time and its still good to watch. “A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets” - Lovely Dialogues. When the movie released, the whole of India was drooling over Kate Winslet. Not anymore.

Its raining this weekend so couldn’t do much this weekend. So its a chill out weekend.

Listening - Pon Magal Vandaal from ATM.
Reading - The web.

Only me? And some friends whom I meet personally everyday ? All those friends are junkies and they think its fucking crap to maintain a blog. They instead go out to the “real world” and get the girls. Well, I am not floating in some dream that some girl would read this blog and starts to email me but its certainly welcome. Jokes apart let me tell you my real frustation here.

I asked couple of question on this blog hoping that some indian blogger would kindly identify this blog and answer them. The blog stats show that there were 16 readers yesterday and all of them were me.

How did these guys who made it to the top, do it ? Were they just early birds to this blog world or did they write the right content that people identified their blogs. I read kiruba.com for the last 3 years and honestly he hasn’t written a single piece of interesting content except building his own brand. Seriously there is no commentary or interesting content.

Then we have Amit Verma(a golti like Ram Gopal Verma?) who recently won some award that they gave him in New York or wherever. He writes a link blog called India Uncut, where he links to several sites with one liners. That’s a tough work to do but when you have people emailing you and tipping you, can’t you do that. Here is a catch-22 situation. You got to be popular to be read and be tipped. But how do you get popular ?

On the other hand, there is a jerk from my hometown who just bashes everyone on the dance floor and gets atleast a thousand hits a day. Chicks who write their own blogs come here and drop filthy comments with different names and vent out their student angst. And this is one big hypocritical bunch. I asked a question to myself, should I even be read by one of these jerks or should I just write for my own heart’s content. Thats seems as much hypocritical as these other jerk bloggers.

Here is a note to you- you are the one other than me who is reading this blog and if you happen to have a blog, just cross link me there. Let’s scratch each others back and wait if some desipundit or some other filter bloggers like them will link back to us in one of their posts.

kathadi ramamoorthy

Any idea where this guy is now ? I used to enjoy his tuesday 7:00 pm doordarshan plays. Someone asked me if this blog was based on Kathadi Ramamoorthy’s nick name. Though that being a far fetched thought, I certainly liked him as a comedy actor.

Ayya Amma Ammamma was a fantastic side-splitting comedy drama of Kathadi Ramamoorthy and not many know it was scripted by Crazy Mohan. The last time I saw him was in S.Ve Shekar and Pandiyarajan’s Kathaanayagan movie.

Is this book worth a read. I doubt. Any suggestions for anyone who gets to read this blog.

Its raining outside, I’m sitting here at 12:00 am watching Saturday Night Live on E! and its frigging boring as hell. Should hit the bed soon.

Gates is asking for no gates.

sachin superman

When his score reached 9, Tendulkar became only the second batsman after Sir Don Bradman to make 5000 or more runs against a particular opponent in all forms of international cricket (Tests, ODIs and T20 internationals).

On 38, he broke Sir Don’s world record of 5028 runs against England. Now Tendulkar has 5082 runs against Australia in all international cricket.

From Rediff.

Sachin breaks yet another bradman record and he is the No.1 ODI batsman again.

I really thought for once that sachin was on a downhill stride but he proved all of us otherwise. Thanks for bringing back memories of my teenage days. Way to go, Champ.

Congrats India for the scintillating victory over the aussies. I was awake until late last night and it was well worth it. Now back to the nets for practice.

After hovering over the blogosphere for the last 4 years, here’s to myself, a pat for finally kick starting a blog. The aim of this blog - fun. I hope this will be a daily journal of what I see, read and live.I hail from Madras(would prefer to call Madras instead of chennai). They re-named when I was out on a vacation.I am currently a newbie at Seattle and have travelled around the east and mid-west of US for four years. The dull climate of seattle prompted me to write a blog and I named it Kathadi(Kite), a sport that I loved during childhood. This is my first experience in writing a blog. Most of the blogs are nothing but pure non-sense. This will also join the same club.Hope to keep it going. Wish me.
